Beyond Postnatal Yoga

For mothers who have moved beyond the initial postpartum recovery phase - with no upper limit!

Your baby isn't quite so "new" anymore, and your body has started to find its new normal. But the journey of motherhood (and your relationship with your changing body) continues to evolve.

Remember: once you're postnatal, you're always postnatal, whether your little one is 12 months or 12 years!

Beyond Postnatal Yoga is designed specifically for women who have progressed beyond the immediate postpartum period (typically around 9-12 months after birth) but still want to address the unique physical and emotional needs of motherhood.

In this class, we'll focus on:

  • Rebuilding deep core strength that supports you through toddler-chasing and beyond
  • Addressing postural changes that develop from months of baby-carrying, feeding and sleep deprivation
  • Releasing tension patterns that have accumulated during the demanding early months of motherhood
  • Creating sustainable energy reserves for the marathon that is parenting growing children
  • Reconnecting with yourself as both a woman and a mother

Whether you're dealing with lingering diastasis recti, pelvic floor concerns, or simply want to rebuild your strength and resilience, this practice meets you where you are now. There's no expiration date on postnatal care—your body carried and birthed a child, and it deserves ongoing support whether your children are toddlers, in primary school, or beyond.
