About This Event

DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF

Somatic Activated Healing Method™️ Monthly Session

Online in English

What does your inner voice sound like? Are you your worst critic? This session will release any feelings of not enough-ness, and build room to become your own best friend.

This session offers a space to reconnect with your body, transmute despair into presence, and transform paralysis into grounded action. You will be guided back to your center—so you can return to the world with clarity, compassion, and strength.

The SAH Method™️ combines meditation, breathwork, affirmations, movement and ecstatic dance to release the emotional residue we have stored in our bodies.

The practice starts with a meditation, breathwork, and shaking, and continues by alternating movement, ecstatic dance, and dynamic meditation.

The set of moves are specifically designed to release emotions we have stored in our bodies from the difficult times we have gone through in our lives. Each move corresponds to an emotional state, chosen in alignment with the session's intention to work through that emotion.

The recording will be available for 14 days after the session in case you miss it (or want to repeat it!).

Recommendations and requirements for practice:

  • Bring pen and paper for a short reflection.
  • Make enough physical space around you (move sharp or fragile furniture) to move freely. Turn the sound up or use speakers if available. Warn those living in your home that you will be noisy!
  • Keep a glass of water nearby. Practice on an empty stomach if possible.
  • Wear comfortable clothing to move freely. Wear sneakers or stay barefoot (no socks to avoid slipping). Let your hair down or wear a tight braid(s) or wear your scarf tightly - we will be shaking our heads!
  • When practicing the SAH Method™, we create a safe space for all to express themselves. All participants are required to interact with respect, including by respecting others' privacy even after the session.
