Falling is not an inevitable part of getting older. Prevent falls through exercises to strengthen legs, core, and back extensors.
Class includes static and dynamic balance and agility exercises, functional training to improve your ability to perform everyday tasks or activities for fun/fitness, and progressive resistance training where the major muscles groups work against resistance (e.g. squats, lunges, push-ups).
This is a mat & chair based class with options for all levels.
Props: Yoga mat, chair (preferably without arms and one with a straight back) but any chair will do, light weights, resistance bands
