About This Event

LiveStreamed - Gentle Hatha Flow Yoga Class

A gentle practice, designed to calm the body and mind, helping you to prepare for the day ahead or to aid unwinding into the evening.

Alongside the focus on the physical yoga postures and their alignment, we also look to tap into a more mindful state, to cultivate inner relaxation, lowering stress through yogic breathing.

Emphasis on soothing the body, incorporating more forward fold poses to guide our energy levels down from the day’s highs. 

Classes Suitable For:

All levels of yoga practitioners, from beginners through to seasoned yogis.

Style is Hatha Yoga, incorporating elements of Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga.

Takeaways Over Time:

Muscle and joint stretching, bone strengthening.

Increased flexibility and coordination.

Improvements to balance and circulation.

A better understanding of the body’s movement and breath.

And a greater sense of wellbeing and relaxation.

Important Notes: 

Always start gentle, be guided by the moment and enjoy with a smile.

As with other forms of physical exercise, keep any food intake light and at least an hour before class is due to start.  Have some water or herbal tea close to hand in case you may need it.

Within a few short weeks you will learn a safe sequence of yoga poses, understand best use of yoga props, experience some wonderful yogic breathing exercises and the many benefits yoga brings to both the body and the mind.
