Join us online or in-person from the Springfield Vermont Town Library, 43 Main Street, 10 a.m. ET every third Friday (October 2025 through September of 2026) for a 60-minute chair yoga practice. You'll learn some accessible movements that you can do right from your seat, leaving you feeling mobile, grounded and focused. We'll pay special attention to practices that boost our brains and soothe our nervous systems, so we can take the benefits with us between sessions.
Head to the library or tune in live from wherever you are in the world to follow along. Those who register online will also get access to the recordings so they can watch classes again and again.
You can simply walk in to the library and join us live in-person for FREE (no need to pre-register here). For online access--which includes all recordings-- choose from among the following options ...
* Springfield Town Library cardholders can contact the library at 802-885-3108 or stlib@vermontel.net to receive a coupon code for FREE online access (including all recordings)
* Pay $120 upfront for the entire year ($10/class)
* Pay $10 for your first class, then be charged $10 automatically every 30 days for a year ($10/class)
* Pay what you wish upfront for the entire year (minimum of $99, or $8.25/class)
* Purchase a day pass for $10 and get 24-hour access to all available recordings and livestreams. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you'd like to use the Day Pass option to attend just one class and see all the available chair yoga recordings, sign up just before the class as the 24-hour access clock starts ticking as soon as you register.
Choose whichever option works best for you at checkout.
Please wear comfortable clothing and have a full water bottle with you. We'll meet in-person at the Flinn Room, which will be outfitted with chairs for us. If you're joining online you'll need a chair--often wooden or metal folding chairs work well, but use what you have and feels best to you (if you use a wheelchair, you already have what you need). Here are some things to look for in your most important prop:
height--make sure your feet can touch the floor comfortably
seat--level (front to back and side to side) and flat
sturdy--we don't want any tipping
back--it's nice to have good support for the restful time at the end of practice
arms--these can limit some movements, but they may be useful if you need help getting out of the chair
Let me know if you have any additional questions by emailing jo@jobregnard.com. I look forward to practicing with you!
BONUS! Enjoy the chair yoga video recorded at the Springfield Town Library on Sept. 11, 2025, as soon as you sign up!
