Meghan Reedy became a JKA Solvents & Glue teacher to deepen her own self-understanding and build her capacity to connect with people, even in challenging moments -- and to help others do the same. She is constantly astonished at how small shifts can reveal surprising avenues of possibility.
Meghan is a program coordinator for Maine Humanities, where she supports discussion programming in Maine's prisons. Since her doctoral research on emotional expression and Latin poetry, she has been fascinated by the interplay between movement, sensory perception, and verbal expression. She writes, runs, power-lifts, and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido, the martial art of peace.
