About This Event

This class blends gentle self-myofascial techniques with long-held Yin yoga poses to support mobility, reduce tension, and restore ease in both body and mind. We begin with accessible self-massage using yoga blocks and therapy balls (a tennis ball or a slightly deflated Pilates ball works well too). These techniques gently stimulate your body’s connective tissue—supporting fluid movement, sensory awareness, and nervous system balance.

From there, we transition into Yin postures that target the same fascial regions, allowing your body to absorb the benefits of stillness and time. This layering of light compression followed by sustained stretch isn’t about “fixing” the tissue, but rather about creating conditions for functional mobility, relaxation, and embodied resilience.

Gentle pressure can increase local circulation and sensory awareness, creating a receptive environment for deeper rest and release in Yin shapes.

While we’re not “releasing fascia” in a mechanical sense, we are stimulating tissue, calming protective tension, and supporting the body’s capacity for ease and adaptability.

You’ll leave feeling more spacious, grounded, and attuned to your body’s inner landscape.
