Dr. Marian Maile is a Structural and Energetic Chiropractor, yoga instructor, and inner child reparenting coach devoted to helping people feel safe, connected, and fully at home in their bodies. Her approach weaves breath, movement, intuitive chiropractic care, and trauma-informed somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and deeper embodiment. With a background in yoga, dance, and mind-body healing, she creates soft, grounded spaces for people who crave slowness, safety, and genuine connection. Marian lives in the Oakland hills and enjoys quality time with friends, delicious food and weekly ecstatic dance.
Sarah Lee , PhD, (she/her) is a yoga and meditation teacher known for her uplifting classes that blend mindful movement with accessible spirituality. She is also a life and career coach who supports women—especially women of color—in stepping into the fullest expression of who they are. As a professor at Dominican University of California, Sarah teaches classes in business psychology with a deep commitment to equity and inclusion. The throughline across all Sarah’s work is this: she creates safe, transformative spaces—whether you’re on your mat, in a coaching session, or in her classroom—to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your truth. Sarah lives in Marin County, on unceded Miwok land, where she can be found hiking, exploring farmers markets, playing classical violin, and hunting for exceptional loose-leaf tea.
Kerstin Phillips (she/her) is The Boundaries Coach, a yoga instructor, and founder of Love & Live Wellness. She helps women and nonbinary folks stop saying yes when they mean no and set healthy boundaries without the guilt. Through coaching, workshops, and journaling programs, Kerstin creates spaces where clarity, self-compassion, and confidence can grow. She lives in Berkeley, CA, on unceded Ohlone land with her family and two cats, Pesto & Tacocat, where she loves hiking, reading, and drinking copious amounts of tea.
What do I need to bring?
Yoga Mat, Water bottle, A Journal, Something to write with, Things that make you comfy (like pillows, cozy blankets, yoga blocks, or a bolster), Wear comfy clothes and dress in layers
What type of yoga should I expect?
We'll have a combination of yoga styles that will leave you feeling balanced and restored. This is an all levels retreat. Expect both active yoga (like vinyasa, power, or yang) and restorative yoga (like yin and resting poses).
What should I wear?
Wear comfy clothes that you can move in and dress in layers.
Are children allowed?
Older teens (15 and up) are welcome with a parent or guardian.
What does it cost?
early bird is $65 per person, after January 6th it's $75 per person
How long is it?
The mini retreat is from 3pm-6pm, with a short break in the middle. It's the perfect amount of time to fully decompress and reenergize yourself.
