Winter Flow PRIME: 2-Week Steel Mace Vinyasa Series

About This Event

This live online class is part of Winter Flow, a 2-week Strength & Flow series designed to help you build strength, coordination, and rhythm without intensity overload.

Each session blends:

  • Breath-based slow-flow yoga
  • Functional strength and conditioning
  • Intentional pacing and recovery

We’ll use a steel mace (or a substitute tool) as a tool for awareness, strength, and coordination. The off-center load of the steel mace provides immediate feedback, helping you move with more stability, focus, and control. No prior experience is required.

All live sessions are recorded. Replays are available until Jan 31st if you can’t attend live.

Equipment

  • Steel mace (recommended: 5 lb, ~36" length - )
  • OR wooden dowel or broomstick
  • Yoga mat

About the Steel Mace: 

A Steel Mace is a sister to the kettlebell, and provides tremendous benefits when added to the vinyasa yoga practice, including: 

  1. Strength: Adding load (or weight/resistance) to your movements, creating greater strength and body intelligence
  2. Focus: Increasing focus and mindfulness as you work with a new tool in different ways
