Winter Solstice offers us the opportunity to pause in the stillness and savor the depth and the richness of the darkest day of the year.
And Restorative Yoga is the practice of undoing, of being supported and held, and of letting go of the habit of striving and reaching and grasping and making things happen which makes them the perfect pairing for a practice focused on cultivating deep rest and renewal (and who couldn't use a little more of that in theirs lives at the moment?)
.
Give yourself a 90-minute heart, mind and body reset so you can start the busy holiday week feeling relaxed, renewed, invigorated and deeply connected with yourself. Let this be the little gift you give yourself this holiday season 🎁.

No special knowledge or experience is needed for this class but you will need props to support your body in the poses. You have many items around your house that are great props for restorative yoga ~ blankets, beach towels, pillows, furniture, extra yoga mats, etc. Bring what you have and I'll teach you how to work with it to maximize the practice.
Appropriate for all levels; the practice will be guided from the floor. If being on the floor is not accessible or comfortable for you, you can modify the practice by following the cues while seated in a comfortable chair or lying on a bed or couch.

See you in class,
