The majority of class breaks down all the component parts of the peak pose, which allows us to build our strength and mobility in the joint directions that the peak pose demands. To do this we use props for resistance, change our orientation, and experience the peak pose broken up into easier bite sized pieces. In the end, (hopefully) it all connects! I’ve been known to teach the class and never get to the peak pose, which I think is a wonderful way to challenge our egos and respect the process.
What to prepare:

2 blocks
A blanket
A strap
Household items can be used to sub for props you do not have.
This class is great for a seasoned yoga practitioner looking for an accessible challenge.
