Yoga nidra is an ancient practice which creates a deep sense of relaxation, relieving the mind of stress and the body of tension. As you lie relaxed on your yoga mat, I will guide you through the practice, taking your mind and body to a state between being awake and being asleep. Yoga nidra has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia, and work on deep emotional patterns. With regular practice, you may notice the benefits of yoga nidra showing up in your daily life!
Recommendations and requirements for practice:
- Wear comfortable clothing and socks.
- Lie on a yoga mat (if you do not have one, you can use a towel or blanket). Additional blankets and pillows are optional.
- If you have dinner before the class, allow some time after dinner to digest before the practice.
- You should be staying awake during the practice. But in case you have things to do after the class and are afraid to fall asleep, you can set an alarm to ring 5 min after the end of the class ends.
